We’re moving: How a new HQ + a Geo-Flex Model Will Lead to More Impactful Work
Effective June 17, 2019, we are upgrading our space and moving our headquarters to 2120 University Avenue in downtown Berkeley, California.
The new office space, located in a WeWork facility, will be the home to our Bay Area-based team members.
Thanks to WeWork’s extensive network of spaces, we are able to get even closer to our clients across the country. Their network gives us room to grow in different geographies as our clients’ demands grow in these areas too. This also allows for strategy to define our clients’ deliverables, by being able to bring more partners and specialized expertise into our team on particular projects.
“The intentions of this move are three-fold,” said Hamid Ghanadan, Founder of LINUS. “One is to improve the efficiencies and processes of our work. As an organization, we needed an upgraded, more modern office that will give us the space to innovate how we work and will help our processes become more nimble and effective, a direct benefit to our clients.
“The second is that we want our employees to have a better quality of life. And for some, that means the flexibility to work from anywhere — whether that be remotely, at home or at our main office in Berkeley.
“And lastly, we’re redefining what an HQ looks like, and turning to a more flexible geography model.”
As our company grows, so do the places our team calls home. With employees distributed across the entire U.S., we found a need for a more flexible way to work and an option to work from anywhere. Our remote employees now have somewhere to go if they don’t want to work from home, or need to schedule a meeting with a client or a contractor, and our larger team in the East Bay area can still enjoy their favorite lunch spots and neighbors in Berkeley.
