State of Science: What scientists want and predict in 2023

Are scientists preparing for a tighter economic climate? What are they thinking, feeling and doing with their work as we head into 2023? And what does that mean for the companies who sell to scientific markets?

In our semi-annual State of Science survey, we look into how scientists around the globe continue to adapt their priorities, productivity, and mindset, and how that may affect the life science industry. Add on the current economic climate, and we may be able to strategically plan priorities for the next year.

To better understand what’s driving these dynamics, we surveyed a cohort of scientists on their priorities, expectations and perceptions for 2023. From applications and techniques that are making the biggest impact in scientific research to their purchasing intent, we’re taking a look at the state of our industry and how scientists are behaving and thinking about the year ahead.

Report coming soon.

Update on the State of Science 2022: What scientists want and predict

Halfway through a year of what is the Next Normal, scientists around the globe are adapting their mindsets and priorities in an ever-changing ecosystem that continues to look different every day.At the beginning of the year, we surveyed a cohort of global scientists to better understand what they expect in the upcoming year. Now, we’re checking in with those scientists again to track what changes and trends are manifesting, and what will continue to change as the year progresses. From applications and techniques that are making the biggest impact to measuring productivity and the barriers they face in making progress, we’re taking a look at the state of our industry. Join us for a live conversation, hosted by President Kristin Apple and Founder Hamid Ghanadan, we’ll discuss the trends and shifts we’re seeing, and how to adapt and plan for what’s still to come in the life science industry.

Home is the Center of Health

Today, home is more than a home. It’s our doctor’s office, our diagnostics lab, our long-term care center.

By 2030, 93 million Americans will be 60+ and 77% of adults want to stay in their home as they age. If home is the primary way we deliver care to this population, how can companies step up to support this new reality?  In our latest report, we surveyed 1,000+ adults between the ages of 60-79 to better understand what this population might want, need and desire at the intersection of health and home, and the technologies they choose to adopt. In this webinar recording, LINUS President Kristin Apple and CEO Hamid Ghanadan discuss insights and data from our study and the foundation of how to evolve for the future of health at home. We’ll also share three insight-driven innovation territories to consider as we design for a future where home is the center of health.
